Below, you can read a summary of the main decisions taken during this meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2021 COUNCIL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EC decided that the next meeting of the Council, in May, will not take place on site in Swakopmund, Namibia, as planned, due to the current global travel restrictions and difficulties. It will be replaced with a videoconference meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ELECTIONS OF ATHLETES\u2019 REPRESENTATIVES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EC agreed that the elections of the athletes\u2019 representatives for Men\u2019s Artistic Gymnastics, Women\u2019s Artistic Gymnastics, Rhythmic Gymnastics and Trampoline Gymnastics shall take place during the 2021 World Championships. While the Statutes require that these elections be held during the World Championships in the year following the Olympic Games, the one-year postponement of the Olympic Games is considered an exceptional situation that was not foreseen in the FIG Statutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TECHNICAL REGULATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EC discussed all modifications made to the 2022 Technical Regulations. They will be submitted to the Council in May for approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WORLD CUP RULES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EC has approved the Rules for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Artistic Gymnastics \u2013 All-Around World Cups 2022\u201324<\/li><li>Artistic Gymnastics \u2013 Apparatus World Cups 2022\u201324<\/li><li>Artistic Gymnastics \u2013 World Challenge Cups 2022\u201324<\/li><li>Rhythmic Gymnastics \u2013 World Cups 2022\u201324<\/li><li>Rhythmic Gymnastics \u2013 World Challenge Cups 2022\u201324<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>APPARATUS AND EQUIPMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EC approved the introduction of a certification process for landing mats used in official competitions in Double Mini-trampoline and Tumbling, as well as the new requirements for the dimensions of spotter mats in Trampoline and an update of the specification for ribbon canes in Rhythmic Gymnastics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FIG MAGAZINE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EC agreed that the FIG stop producing the <em>World of Gymnastics<\/em> magazine after the issue dated October 2020 (N.90). Instead of a magazine, the FIG will now publish the <em>Yearbook<\/em>, with the first edition planned for 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FINANCIAL ACCOUNTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EC unanimously agreed to submit the 2020 financial report, the auditors\u2019 reports and the 2021 budget. They will be submitted to Council in May for approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NATIONALITY CHANGE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EC approved the following change of nationality:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Tara DONNELLY \u2013 WAG Gymnast. Former: IRL \/ New: GBR*<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>*<em>valid from 17 March 2021<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for your attention.
